NABH Accreditation
Accreditation is "a public recognition of the achievement of accreditation standards by a healthcare organisation, demonstrated through an independent external peer assessment of that organisation's level of performance in relation to the standards". National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH - http://www.nabh.co/) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI - http://www.qcin.org/), set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organisations.
The institute has the unique distinction of being the First Super Specialty government hospital in the country to be accredited by NABH. It also is the second government hospital in Delhi, and the seventh in the country to be so accredited.The institute intends to continue to strive ceaselessly towards higher standards of quality in patient safety and care delivery.
